Centralized Facility Management System

Total Integrated System Solution

The ICSI integrated parking products concept represents the most effective and efficient use of today's technology, adapted to the Parking Industry's most complete line of Parking Access and Revenue Control (PARC) products and systems available. ICSI takes PARC so seriously, and so much to heart, it represents the biggest parts of our corporation's business name... Integrated Control Systems, ICSIparc.com. Unlike the vast majority of other manufacturers of parking equipment, PARC is our only business.

The ICSI "Cirrus" Central Reporting & Control Systems (CRS) system software provides a complete solution for virtually every parking installation of any size, from the most modest surface facility to major multi-level parking structures with wide-area networking application requirements. ICSI can provide a total "turnkey" system for any parking application, from product and system specifications and typical lane layout diagrams that are easily downloaded from the ICSI web site, to system proposal and bidding services, system installation, complete on-site project management and supervision, system training and instruction, post-installation service and maintenance, and future system expansion and upgrades. ICSI is your one-stop parking equipment and systems professional!

System Architecture

The ICSI "Cirrus" Central Reporting & Control Systems (CRS) system software is a personal computer (PC) based, open-architecture (ODBC compliant) software system. It utilizes the Microsoft Windows-2000 / XP-Professional operating system, providing the user with virtually all of the benefits associated with the world's largest and most respected software developer's features, including networking, database management, communications, archiving and data storage, and control capabilities. Couple the operating system with the fact that the ICSI "Cirrus" (CRS) program was written using Microsoft Visual Basic to insure the best and most advanced in graphic user interface (GUI), making the term "user-friendly" truly applicable. And finally, the ICSI "Cirrus" software utilizes the Microsoft SQL database engine, to sort, archive, and store all of the data collected by this on-line system.

The major advantages of a strong connection to P/C industry stalwarts such as IBM-compatible PC hardware running exclusively in a complete Microsoft environment, assures the user of the finest, most stable and user-friendly system available in the Parking Industry.

Networking Solutions

Because the ICSI "Cirrus" System is a completely scalable PC-based marriage of hardware and software, it provides comprehensive control of all system activities at the parking facility. This scalability means unprecedented accuracy because of built-in checks and balances performed with every transaction and/or event recorded by the PARC System. The data acquisition and communications protocols (TCP/IP) are computer industry proven, reliable, and accurate. The versatility of this system networking architecture, based upon a client/server model, incorporates the latest open system architecture technology, and is accepted the world over as the most reliable and consistent available.

Revenue Control

ICSI "Cumulus" provides simple to use tools and functionality to help the system manager track and monitor revenues from a central location. The graphic user interface (GUI) user-friendly system screens display transactions emanating from every revenue control device within the system. Rate structures, fee tables, merchant validations, miscellaneous key fees, etc. may be designed and tested at the ICSI "Cumulus" System computer, and then batch loaded to specific revenue devices in the system network. Revenues received may then be integrated into the system's accounting general ledger.

Through the system's control filters, devices are controlled and monitored to the user defined system parameters. All of the features and functions of the ICSI "Cumulus" fee computers may be customized to the user's requirements, and designed to meet the parking site's specific requirements.

Valet System

The ICSI "Cirrus" System offers full "on-line" support of the ICSI "Cumulus" Valet PARC System, an ICSI "Cirrus" sub-system software module comprised of bar code machine-readable Valet Parking (multi-part) Ticket Scanner, and fee collection device (fee computer). This software module provides complete on-line system integration of the Valet System within an expanded controlled parking application.

Card Access Control

Company input screen Most modern access control systems feature a dazzling array of electronic wizardry, but these features accomplish little if the system itself can be inadvertently, or intentionally compromised by cards the customer does not know about. In today's fast paced world, that condition is the rule rather than the exception, because most manufactures don't go to the trouble of insuring customer format exclusivity. We do, and always have. For Differential Optics and Proximity systems, we use a secure encrypted format, and we register and retain a record of every end user's site code, and every card number ever issued to that site code. This involves more clerical overhead, but it's worth it because our customers can rest assured that their systems are secure, and cannot be compromised by cards that they don't know exist.

Our standard ICSI software package offers more high-end parking features than other systems dedicated to parking. They include user selectable hard or soft anti-pass-back, timed anti-pass-back, auto re-synch, and car pool enforcement.

Space counting is a standard feature that allows cumulative and differential occupancy counts with lot full sign control. Space counting within Access Groups is also available, enabling the system to restrict the total number of users within the facility at any given time to a user specified number. The counters are incremented and/or decremented by each entrance and exit of a vehicle.

Cardholder input screen Our tenant specific space allocation module lets you designate a fixed number of free spaces per tenant, and will block free entry for that tenant until an allocated space becomes available. With anti-passback set even though a tenant's cardholder pulls a ticket from the Ticket Dispenser, they cannot use their card to exit the facility because they weren't able to use upon entry.

We offer special report packages such as Tenant Billing that automatically generates monthly invoices to tenants, and it includes the popular Positive Posting feature that automatically voids or validates cards based on invoice payment.

ICSI "Stratus" provides simple to use tools and functionality to help the system manager track and monitor controlled/restricted access ingress and egress from a central location. The graphic user interface (GUI) user-friendly system screens display access control transactions emanating from every access control device within the system (entry card reader, exit card reader, and valet ticket reader). Access levels, time zones, access groups, individual cardholders, etc. may be designed, programmed, and configured at the ICSI "Stratus" System computer, and then batch loaded to specific access devices in the system network. Access transactions are then integrated into the system's transaction accounting general ledger.

Through the ICSI "Stratus" system control filters, devices are controlled and monitored to the user defined system parameters. All of the features and functions of the ICSI card access control devices may be customized to the user's requirements, and designed to meet the parking site's specific requirements.
