Services
It is true that ICSI does offer a very tangible product, Parking Access & Revenue Control software! However, we recognize and acknowledge the fact that ICSI is primarily a service related company. That is, when you make the decision to purchase the ICSI software system you are really buying ICSI support, consulting, and installation expertise. We are here to support you in any way and every way we possibly can.
Delivery of the software purchased does not signify the end of the role for ICSI, but really the beginning! Our clients have continued to seek out our assistance to complete "custom" software applications, and solutions to unique system requirements. Some examples are listed below:
At one site ICSI was asked to create a system that would automatically recognize several different types of parking clients automatically without any operator intervention, all being charged at different rates, all using the same single fee computer. We did it, and now that feature is part of every ICSI system.
At another site ICSI was asked to interface with an end-user's existing barcode Time & Attendance System. Since every employee at the resort hotel's site had an employee barcode ID card, the management staff wanted an Access Control system that would allow the employees to use their existing cards, and not have to either issue new cards or retrieve the employees' cards to enable the system. The twist here was that barcode cards of various types and card digit lengths were being used, from 6-digit lengths to 17-digit cards were being used! We did it, and now that feature is part of every ICSI system.
At yet another site, the client required that the system use one set of Rate Structures for general purposes, but at a set time each day to change the Rate Structures to a different set of rates. In addition, this auto-change was only to take place Monday through Friday, but not on weekends. We did it, and now that feature is part of every ICSI system.
One client of ours needed a Card Access Control System that would allow the parking operator to issue an unlimited number of access cards, one to each employee of a suite within a high-rise multi-tenant office building. However, they needed the system to maintain a dynamic count of the number of employees of each suite within the parking facility, and when the user-programmable "threshold" count was attained, additional access attempts would be denied until the specific count assigned to this group dropped below the threshold count. The kicker here was that each suite within the building had to be able to have a threshold count number that varied from tenant suite to tenant suite. In addition, user reports of Threshold Count system usage had to be as flexible as the count system itself. We did it, and now that feature is part of every ICSI system.
